When I first started
painting, I was searching
the seed catalogs for some
inspiration for my
paintings and saw a new
type of Swiss Chard. It was
brightly colored and caught
my eye. So I took the color
ideas, sketched out the
leaves and had a fun time
applying the colors. I get a
lot of comments that they
don't look real...but I know
better.
