This painting was done
while I was experimenting
with color. I deliberately
chose not to paint it
traditionally. Instead I
looked for the colors in the
shadows and used those
hues to paint with. The
painting was so far from
what I usually do, the
name "Purple Flowers in
an Alien Field" seemed
appropriate.
